With support from Sustrans and Awards for All, MoFloCoCo is working on developing the Letherby Triangle in the heart of Mount Florida. We have undertaken extensive consultation work, involving hundreds of local residents to determine the best option for the site.
MoFloCoCo has adopted the design that had the greatest popular support as our recommendation for implementation. This sees the green space regenerated and linked up to the shops, while allowing for parking and deliveries access in a traffic-calmed area.
Local residents told us that this gave the greatest chance to enhance the green space while making it more accessible. Another advantage highlighted by local residents is that it gives a chance remodel the dangerous junction of Cathcart and Carmunnock Roads.
